Apparently there are too many reused textures which is likely why updates here are currently lacking, or that we are waiting until the final DLC is released (which spoiler warning: is Sora, and no I am not kidding, hes actually in the game now)

@JJ314, Yea, I mean the effects. Maybe some characters and stages will appear on this page. As Effects are eff files, switch toolbox can extract those files as well as nutexb files.

So when adding the characters EFX on a folder, some other effects will be on that folder. For Example, On Mario's folder is his effects, but 1 of Corrin's Effects go with that folder.

For what I found with Switch Toolbox, the effect textures are mapped to differently shaped models, which in turn distorts the texture to add the illusion that its a series of sprites. The models are translucent/transparent and blend with different blending modes to create stunning visuals.

It might be something similar to a tool Blender has that can import 2D images into it. When you import a 2D image into Blender, the 2D image gets textured onto a flat 3D plane.

Hopefully this can explain it a little bit.

It appears this was just started. So I can assume more is to come in the future.
Ripping assets from this game must be really really tough. Unless if I am not aware that the game uses many formats in one category alone.
